"Yoshikazu Tanaka" Wagyuto blue1 steel 240mm Suminagashi Buffalo Magnolia Handle kiri box
Yoshikazu Tanaka is a famous blacksmith from Sakai City, Osaka Prefecture.
The biggest feature of his knife making is that he sticks to traditional methods. We use a classic construction method that utilizes materials such as pine charcoal and straw, and this method has been used to make high-quality cutlery since ancient times. However, due to production efficiency and cost considerations, only a few blacksmiths continue to adhere to this method.
It is said that Yoshikazu Tanaka produces less than 10 knives per day, and due to his worldwide popularity, production is often unable to keep up with demand. However, in order to produce high-quality products, they will not change their methods.
