"GLESTAIN" Wagyuto 240mm Buffalo Magnolia Handle
The Glestain knife, renowned for its distinctive blade dimples, is one of the finest innovations created by the ingenious inventor, Mr. Akira Homma. Over 50 years ago, stainless steel knives were commonly perceived as low-quality and dull. However, Mr. Homma, through self-study of metallurgy and sharpening techniques, dedicated himself to the art of knife making in pursuit of crafting a sharp stainless steel knife.
After extensive research, he successfully developed the ultimate knife by applying special heat treatment to stainless steel, employing a clamshell-style blade grind inspired by Japanese swords, and adding dimples to the blade to enhance food release.
In Japan, it is widely cherished by both professional chefs and homemakers.
In this context, we introduce a rare Japanese-style Wagyuto from Glestain.
